Bicyclists take over Winter Park for Bike to Work Day

A sea of orange cyclists took to the streets of Winter Park for the first official “Biking Works” Bike to Work Day in March.

The free community-wide event drew an excited crowd of about 70 people. After the 5-mile group ride through Winter Park’s neighborhoods, there was a healthy, happy hour at Boca on Park Avenue.

The event was a great way to promote cycling, encourage people to get out and ditch the vehicle for a healthy and green alternative way to travel.
