Children take a break from the books to learn about ped safety at South Trail Library
The South Trail Library is a busy place on a Saturday afternoon. And it was a perfect opportunity for BWCF and BFF to talk with residents and children about pedestrian and bike safety.
There were many kids eager to answer our questions about ped safety. The children were well-aware of the need to look left-right-left before crossing the street. In addition to answering questions, the children participated in coloring book activities and learned the importance of wearing a bike helmet. The library set up a face-painting station, transforming the children in to super-hero peds!
BWCF and BFF were joined by Planet Fitness, No Limits Gym, and a representative from Obamacare. Thank you to the South Trail Library for hosting such a fun event.
