Children’s Safety Village Keeps Kids Safe
At 9 a.m. on April 12, local kids ranging from a 2-year old in a tutu to a 4-year old in a Spiderman costume lined up to run alongside firefighters and law enforcement officials from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Orlando Police Department at the annual Safe Kids Day event. The BFF team was there giving out bumper stickers to the kids who could answer the question “What do you do before you cross the street?” correctly with “look right, left, right.”
The event, put on locally by the Children’s Safety Village, is part of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global organization working around the world to keep kids safe.
