Reflective crosswalks on Washington Street

When you’re driving down E. Washington Street near Thornton Park, you may notice the crosswalk at N. Summerlin Avenue, or you should! The City of Orlando recently placed reflective pavement markers at the approaches to the crosswalk. The reflective markers, which are visible during inclement weather and at night, are common on most roadways throughout the country and with this latest placement, the markers will better alert drivers that they are approaching a crosswalk and pedestrians. Thank you City of Orlando for making crosswalks more visible to drivers!
